Your Mission
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will:
- Promote best practices for industrial code development across the ML and AI community.
- Design and develop production-ready ML pipelines and integrate existing solutions into industrial environments.
- Work with Data Scientists to define, build, and deploy AI models, ensuring robust data pipelines and seamless integration into production systems.
- Contribute to AI use cases such as employee virtual assistants, client virtual assistants, and foundational AI building blocks.
- Collaborate with IT production teams to monitor, optimize, and retrain models for peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Development: Partner with Data Scientists to design AI models and define production constraints, ensuring business requirements like real-time responses and high processing volumes are met.
- Pipeline Automation: Automate ML pipelines for seamless integration into production environments (e.g., Docker/VM images, regression testing).
- Support & Deployment: Guide Data Scientists in using industrial tools for building and monitoring AI services and assist IT teams with environment parameterization.
- Monitoring & Maintenance: Ensure models are error-free, retrained when needed (including automated retraining), and monitored from IT and business perspectives.
What You Bring
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in containerization and virtualization.
- Proficiency in Python and dependency management using package tools.
- Experience with AI platforms, IDEs, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI).
- Knowledge of code, model, and data versioning.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Agile methodologies.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Skills:
- Integration using various technologies (distributed/mainframe) and infrastructure components.
- Experience with ELT/ETL tools and big data technologies like Spark.
- Knowledge of model compression techniques and data flow processing.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Proficiency in French or Dutch is a plus.
