Summary:
Our client is looking for a skilled System Engineer (Support Engineer) to join their  team and provide Level 2 (L2) and Level 3 (L3) support to internal employees, handling complex tasks and contributing to various hardware and operations projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide Level 2 (L2) and Level 3 (L3) support to internal employees, addressing complex technical issues and ensuring timely resolutions.
  2. Administer Active Directory, including user management and security configurations.
  3. Demonstrate deep knowledge of configuring Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to maintain system security and compliance.
  4. Contribute to hardware and operations projects, ensuring successful implementation and integration.
  5. Manage network components, including DHCP/DNS, switches, routing, and firewalls.
  6. Maintain proficiency in Microsoft SQL for database management and optimization.
  7. Oversee NAS and backup systems, with expertise in solutions such as Barracuda and HPE Nimble.
  8. Manage Windows Server environments and provide support for Office 365 applications.
  9. Utilize ticketing system VFire to log, track, and resolve support requests efficiently.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver high-quality support services.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  2. 2-3 years of experience as a System Engineer or Support Engineer.
  3. Strong expertise in Active Directory administration and user management.
  4. Deep knowledge of configuring Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
  5. Proficient in network management, including DHCP/DNS, switches, routing, and firewalls.
  6. Experience with Microsoft SQL for database management.
  7. Familiarity with NAS and backup systems, such as Barracuda and HPE Nimble.
  8. Knowledge of Windows Server and Office 365.
  9. Experience with ticketing system VFire.
  10. Bilingual proficiency in Dutch (NL) and English (ENG).
  11. Immediate availability (ASAP).
