Summary:
Our client is looking for a skilled System Engineer (Support Engineer) to join their team and provide Level 2 (L2) and Level 3 (L3) support to internal employees, handling complex tasks and contributing to various hardware and operations projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 (L2) and Level 3 (L3) support to internal employees, addressing complex technical issues and ensuring timely resolutions.
- Administer Active Directory, including user management and security configurations.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of configuring Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to maintain system security and compliance.
- Contribute to hardware and operations projects, ensuring successful implementation and integration.
- Manage network components, including DHCP/DNS, switches, routing, and firewalls.
- Maintain proficiency in Microsoft SQL for database management and optimization.
- Oversee NAS and backup systems, with expertise in solutions such as Barracuda and HPE Nimble.
- Manage Windows Server environments and provide support for Office 365 applications.
- Utilize ticketing system VFire to log, track, and resolve support requests efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver high-quality support services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 2-3 years of experience as a System Engineer or Support Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Active Directory administration and user management.
- Deep knowledge of configuring Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Proficient in network management, including DHCP/DNS, switches, routing, and firewalls.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL for database management.
- Familiarity with NAS and backup systems, such as Barracuda and HPE Nimble.
- Knowledge of Windows Server and Office 365.
- Experience with ticketing system VFire.
- Bilingual proficiency in Dutch (NL) and English (ENG).
- Immediate availability (ASAP).
