About the client

For our client we are looking for a motivated/passionate Oracle ERP Business Analyst. Our client is currently implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, including the modules Financials, Procurement and Human Capital. As an Oracle ERP Business Analyst, you will become the trusted partner of the Business community to help build, maintain and improve the Oracle Cloud ERP system.

Description

  • This ERP Business Analyst (BA) IT position will be the "liaison" between the Oracle implementation partner and the business units for all content related elements. He will be responsible for providing support and guidance for the implementation of the Oracle Fusion modules in scope.

 

  • The ERP BA works with the business key users to identify and define in detail the customer requirements for information systems solutions and then works with the ERP Software integration partner to translate customer requirements into adequate setup & deployment of the Oracle ERP.

 

  • The ERP BA also is involved in creating requirements-based software test plans and in performing testing of the ERP software.

 

  • The ERP BA is involved in identifying, analyzing and streamlining the business processes that are associated with the implemented ERP modules.

 

  • The BA also provides post implementation support of the use of the ERP software applications.
  • This position combines understanding of customer requirements and business functions, Oracle ERP expertise and multi-discipline knowledge to recommend innovative ways of implementing ERP functionalities to support business processes.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities are the following:

  • Supporting the IT change control process, gathering the end-user requirements, and communicating timelines and delivery status to the business units

 

  • Collaboration with Finance, Human Resources and Technical Department at the Antwerp site and with Regional and Corporate ERP stakeholders in the design, development, and deployment of the organization's Oracle Cloud ERP system

 

  • Development of test scenarios and test cases, including execution, test run validation and coordination of functional user testing

 

  • The development and execution of the roll-out strategies, cut-over plans, end-user training and support and end-user documentation

 

  • Understanding the complexities, interdependencies and data flow of business processes implemented in Oracle ERP, including Financials, Procurement and Human Capital

 

  • Development of clear functional business requirements/specifications

 

  • Supporting the go live & after care with troubleshooting production issues through discussion with end users and technical resources, including problem recognition and definition of the research strategy and resolution steps.

Profile

Mandatory skills:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience as an Oracle Fusion Business Analyst
  • Strong knowledge of the Financials module is a must, knowledge of the HCM and Procurement modules is a plus
  • Must be an effective communicator (written and oral) across all levels of organization, including users, developers and management
  • Must have experience documenting requirements and developing system / user test plans
  • Ability to work independently
  • Project management skills: able to coordinate multiple work streams simultaneously to meet project deadlines

 

Preferred, but not mandatory:

  • Knowledge of the HCM and Procurement modules is a plus

Our client has the intention to replace his existing finance, HR and purchasing IT solutions with an Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, including the modules Financials, Procurement and Human Capital. As a Data Integration Analyst, you will become the trusted partner of the Business community to help build, maintain and improve data integrations and migration between systems, with focus on the Oracle ERP system

Location: Antwerp

Description

  • This Data Integration Analyst (DIA) IT position will be the "liaison" between IT and the business units for data integrations or migrations between DP World’s business applications or with external systems.

 

  • The DIA works with the business users to identify and define in detail the customer requirements for data integrations and data migrations between systems. He merges this input with a good understanding of the existing integration flows and based on the fusion of both, he creates an integrated set of data requirements.

 

  • He translates these data requirements into detailed data mappings & technical requirements for integration & migration. He works with the Technical Integration Engineers to validate completeness & technical feasibility and ensures delivery.

 

  • The DIA is involved in creating requirements-based integration or migration test plans and in performing testing of the implemented system integrations or data migrations.

 

  • This position combines understanding of business requirements, data analysis skills and integration expertise to recommend effective ways of implementing data integrations or migrations between systems.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities are the following:

DATA INTEGRATION

  • Propose, design and implement end-to-end integration solutions between our applications or with external systems

 

  • Work with business users to scope and define data requirements for application integration, including the data conversion and mapping requirements between our systems

 

  • Ensure detailed understanding of the existing data flow integrations with the target scope of implementation

 

  • Collaborate with ETL/API developers to determine the best approach for supporting application integrations

 

  • Responsible for the applicable technical architecture of application integrations

 

  • Manage the integration flow development for application and data integration.

 

  • Define testing requirements and acceptance criteria for system integration tracks

 

  • Identify and facilitate efficiency improvements in existing integration processes.

 

  • Partner across the business to develop an in-depth understanding of DP World’s business processes, becoming a subject matter expert in the data transferred between applications

 

  • Provide analytical support to multiple projects, establishing data integration plans and timelines, and coordinating on projects with internal and external resources

 

DATA MIGRATION

  • Ensure the correct and efficient migration of data for our applications.

 

  • Gather the data migration requirements from the business

 

  • Ensure detailed understanding of the existing data within the target scope of migration

 

  • Set up ETL flows to support the data migration (extraction, enrichment, cleansing, standardization, validation and load) processes

 

  • Ensure the data quality of the migrated data for all requirements (functional and technical).

 

  • Take the lead in the creation of data migration and cut-over plans.

 

  • Take the lead in the creation of the data migration designs and architecture.

 

Profile

Mandatory skills:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a business analysis role focused on data integration, data quality management and data migration.
  • Experience in designing, testing, and deploying data integrations.
  • Experience with API and Web Services (REST/SOAP/Bulk).
  • Experience with data design, architecture, querying and data modeling
  • Ability to retrieve, manipulate and present large sets of data
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and dot-connecting skills
  • Strong knowledge of relational database structures
  • Full understanding of XML/JSON syntaxes
  • Advanced skills in data analytics, Excel, and SQL
  • Project management skills: able to coordinate multiple work streams simultaneously to meet project deadlines
  • Meticulous with a high drive for detail & quality
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Preferred, but not mandatory:

  • Knowledge of webMethods ESB (SoftwareAG) is a plus
  • Experience with data integrations with, preferably, Oracle Fusion ERP or another ERP system is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with the main data concepts and terminology used in a Finance ERP module is a plus
