About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Test Engineer to join our R&D testing department. In this position, you will work closely with hardware and software development teams, the service department (customer support, training, etc.), and product management. As a member of our agile Test Team, you will help verify and qualify the XTran system, ensuring high-quality standards in collaboration with project management, development teams, and service colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the voice of the customer within the team, aligning testing with real-world use cases.
- Design and execute test scenarios to validate new products and features.
- Support and enhance continuous delivery processes.
- Expand and maintain automated test coverage.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ICT, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Solid technical understanding of network systems and solutions.
- Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP, and SSH.
- Strong verbal and written English skills; Dutch is a plus.
- Comfortable working in an agile, international team environment.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting IP networks, including connectivity and traffic analysis.
- Familiarity with Wireshark or similar network analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to document test cases, defects, and QA procedures clearly.
- Experience in agile development.
- Basic Python skills for scripting or automation are a plus.
- CCNA or CCNP certification is a plus, not required.
