System Engineer EUC
Leverage technical expertise to ensure the development, planning, and maintenance of back-end and endpoint infrastructure, guaranteeing its continuity and efficiency while addressing the organization’s operational needs.
Key Activities
Manage Back-End and Endpoint Infrastructure:
- Assess the infrastructure environment to define updates, adjustments, and expansions, and propose improvements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate various software and hardware solutions to meet infrastructure requirements.
- Provide users with information and support to ensure optimal and efficient system usage.
- Develop technical designs aligned with specific architectural requirements.
- Implement software and hardware adjustments, updates, and extensions to maintain optimal capabilities.
- Deliver the required support and maintenance for IT infrastructure, following ITIL methodology.
- Participate in on-call duties as needed to ensure system availability.
Provide Recommendations:
- Offer technical advice to internal and external stakeholders for a clear understanding of the technical possibilities and constraints.
- Critically evaluate potential improvements to procedures and workflows within projects and the department.
- Act as the go-to expert within their domain.
Knowledge Management:
- Actively maintain and share technical expertise and insights with colleagues.
- Develop and update technical documentation.
Criteria
Responsibilities:
- Deliver precise recommendations for End User Computing (EUC) projects.
- Provide accurate input and support for infrastructure upgrades, adjustments, and modifications.
- Document and record changes impacting multiple users or systems.

- Incorrect recommendations can lead to poor decision-making, project delays, and unbudgeted corrective efforts.
- Lack of awareness of technological advancements may result in suboptimal infrastructure usage and insufficient support.
- Inadequate support can cause technical downtime and project delays.
Knowledge and Complexity:
- Master's degree or equivalent through experience.
- Over 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Expertise in infrastructure technologies, including operating systems, virtualization, imaging, deployment, scripting, and management tools across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and GPO.
- Proficiency in Azure, storage architecture, TCP/IP networking, ITIL, antivirus solutions, patch management, and related domains.
Languages:
Fluency in French, Dutch, and English (spoken and written).
