Experis is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to support and enhance the quality assurance processes within a dynamic and complex delivery environment. This role requires strong coordination, communication, and technical expertise in software testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Test Planning & Execution
- Define Feature Test Plans in collaboration with involved squads.
- Take ownership of the End-to-End testing process, ensuring smooth coordination with all testing stakeholders, both inside and outside the tribe.
- Communicate effectively on test progress, quality status, and potential impediments throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Work closely with (Cluster) Scrum Masters to maintain an up-to-date delivery plan.
2. Squad Support & Alignment
- Assist squads in organizing and structuring their test activities.
- Define and align test strategy, automation strategy, and test coverage requirements across squads.
- Ensure necessary capacity and time allocation for planned tests.
3. Coaching & Continuous Improvement
- Guide squads in enhancing their quality practices, improving test plans based on risk assessment and relevant quality criteria.
- Coach stakeholders to increase test maturity across the organization.
- Introduce and promote best practices in test automation, regression testing, TDD, BDD, and other modern testing methodologies.
- Collaborate within the Tribe Test Engineer Community to share knowledge, foster improvement, and drive higher quality standards for faster delivery.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory:

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in complex delivery organizations.

Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of test techniques, test types, and test levels.
- Experience in both functional and non-functional testing.
- Solid understanding of structured & risk-based testing.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of functional, application, and infrastructure architecture.
Soft Skills:
Preferred:
- Experience with test automation tools such as Quality Center (QC), Cucumber, SOAP, Service Virtualization, etc.
- Ability to estimate workload and determine testing efforts.
Language Requirements:
- English – Fluent (Mandatory)
- Dutch and/or French – Optional but a plus
