I am currently looking for a Cyber Security Lead for one of my clients based in Liège/Luik.

 

Responsibilities

• Define, implement and maintain cybersecurity policies and controls across multiple European sites

• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans and security audits

• Lead incident response activities including investigation and remediation

• Collaborate with global security teams to align with corporate standards

• Contribute to regulatory and cybersecurity initiatives including NIS2

• Monitor and report on cybersecurity KPIs, incidents and compliance

• Drive cybersecurity awareness and local compliance initiatives

• Coordinate with external vendors and security service providers

• Secure production and industrial systems in collaboration with operations teams

• Monitor OT environments for anomalies and potential cyber threats

• Support compliance with OT cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443 and NIS2

 

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field

• Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity roles

• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR and NIS2

• Hands on experience with NIS2 implementation is a strong asset

• Experience with SIEM, firewalls, endpoint security and vulnerability management tools

• Solid knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux environments

• Experience securing networks and industrial systems

• Strong communication skills with technical and non technical stakeholders

• Fluent in English

Role Overview
The Test Engineer contributes directly to the stability and overall quality of the organisation’s digital products. The role involves defining testing strategies, implementing automation, and ensuring thorough validation of complex software features in collaboration with development, product, and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
Participate in analysing upcoming features to determine appropriate test coverage.
Work with developers to design and implement end to end automated tests.
Carry out manual and exploratory tests to validate critical functional behaviours.
Maintain and improve internal tools used for data injection and test preparation.
Monitor test execution, investigate inconsistent results, and propose corrective actions.
Integrate automated tests within continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
Deliver clear testing reports and communicate findings to product teams.

Main Activities
Contribute to planning sessions and evaluate expected testing efforts.
Collaborate with development teams on test case design aligned with modern front end practices.
Create and manage datasets for applications based on microservices.
Review existing QA procedures and propose enhancements.
Help build scalable automation frameworks.
Support the definition of future quality initiatives and long term QA strategy.
Work with architects and product managers on testing methodologies and priorities.
Guide development teams on implementing test strategies aligned with user stories and specifications.
Maintain close communication with business stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality expectations.

Profile
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.

Experience
Confirmed experience in technical QA with a solid focus on automation.
Strong understanding of modern testing tools and quality assurance practices.

Technical Skills
Good command of front end technologies such as TypeScript, Playwright or Cypress, Jest, Node.js, React, Express
Comfort with CI CD environments and microservices based systems.

Soft Skills
Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
Ability to learn quickly.
Autonomous working style combined with a structured and proactive mindset.
