Mission

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Needs Analysis

  • Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand overall needs.
  • Translate those needs into detailed and structured requirements.
  • Define and validate the scope of major projects.
  • Confirm requirements with all stakeholders and propose alternatives when necessary.

2. Functional Analysis

  • Gather relevant functional and technical information, even when documentation is limited.
  • Synthesize the knowledge required to perform a thorough functional analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with business representatives and IT experts.
  • Organize review cycles to ensure the quality of the analysis, including impact and gap analyses.
  • Document analysis results comprehensively.
  • Create and maintain tickets (User Stories, Features, etc.) in line with the team’s Definition of Done (acceptance criteria, test plans, subtasks).
  • Apply and enforce company standards to ensure consistency across developments.

3. Participation in Testing Phases

  • Actively contribute to testing phases (System Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing).
  • Validate both IT and Business test cases.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Test Coordinator.

Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst.
  • Experience in the insurance sector is a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to work in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to users (on-site and remote).
