Experis is seeking a skilled and meticulous Test Coordinator to join our Real-Time Operations team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in coordinating testing activities across various projects, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Your efforts will help guarantee that our systems and solutions meet top-notch quality standards while working closely with both onshore and offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end testing process for multiple railway projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, and schedules in partnership with project managers and stakeholders.
- Work with development, business, and operations teams to ensure thorough test coverage, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Coordinate testing efforts between onshore and offshore teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
- Identify, document, and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution before project go-live.
- Provide clear reporting on testing progress, risks, issues, and results to project teams and management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for testing-related inquiries, addressing challenges and facilitating resolutions.
- Adhere to industry best practices and standards in testing, quality assurance, and railway-specific regulations.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in French or Dutch required.
- At least 2 years of experience in the railway industry, with familiarity in its systems, standards, and operations.
- A minimum of 3 years as a Test Coordinator, with hands-on experience managing testing activities for complex projects and automating tests.
- Proven ability to work effectively with offshore teams, ensuring smooth coordination across regions and time zones.
- In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC), testing methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
- Experience in testing real-time systems or mission-critical environments is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
