Experis is looking for an experienced Interim Data Analytics Team Leader to help shape and lead the data analytics strategy and projects. This role will be pivotal in supporting our transition to a carbon-neutral energy mix, energy affordability, and reliability, while also supporting innovative infrastructure developments, including those for hydrogen and CO₂ networks.
Your Mission
With our current team leader moving to a new project, we’re seeking someone to step in and lead the Data Analytics teams, focusing on strategy, coordination, and the delivery of meaningful insights for decision-making. This role is critical for facilitating cross-functional data initiatives within our Digital Department and ensuring alignment with our broader data strategy.
Key Responsibilities
As Interim Data Analytics Team Leader, you will:
- Drive Data Strategy: Work with the data analytics teams and architecture office to define and implement our data strategy, aligning it with our business objectives.
- Promote Data Analytics Best Practices: Champion analytics best practices across teams to improve data-driven decision-making.
- Manage and Coach Teams: Lead, coordinate, and mentor the DA teams, ensuring they provide insightful analyses that support strategic business decisions, especially in the energy transition.
- Develop Synergies Across Teams: Foster collaboration between teams and other data initiatives to enhance overall value to the organization.
- Oversee the Project Portfolio: Manage and prioritize incoming requests, balancing business needs, budget, and technical requirements.
- Ensure Architectural Coherence: Work with the Architecture Office to maintain consistency across data platforms.
- Support Platform Evolution: Guide the transition from TimeXtender to a new data platform to better serve diverse business needs.
- Enhance Data Literacy: Assist business users in achieving the necessary data literacy and PowerBI proficiency for effective data utilization.
- Communicate Value: Report on project deliverables, budget, and the business value created, improving visibility of team contributions.
Key Skills & Qualities
- Management Skills: At least 3 years of leadership experience, ideally in data analytics or related fields, with proficiency in Agile project management.
- Soft Skills: A collaborative, entrepreneurial, and positive mindset. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. High level of responsibility and ability to adapt to change.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in data analytics, data governance, dimensional modeling (Kimball methodology), and data lakehouse architecture.
- Skilled in Microsoft’s data analytics ecosystem and data visualization tools like PowerBI.
- Business Expertise: Experience in the energy sector is an advantage.
Language Requirements
- Ideally fluent in Dutch, French, and English, or native in one language with good comprehension (B1 level or above) in the others.
