Junior System Engineer / ITS Officer
Location: Traveling between various clients in the Namur, Liège, and Luxembourg regions
Role Overview:
As an ITS Officer, you will:
- Provide quick and effective ITS support (via phone, remote assistance, and on-site) to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues reported by clients, escalating more complex and urgent problems to third parties in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor and follow up on client IT issues (hardware, software, network).
- Assist colleagues with the installation of simple solutions (laptops, desktops, mobile devices) and manage the installation of more complex systems (servers) according to procedures.
- Support applications within the ITS portfolio, taking responsibility for one or more applications.
- Document the applications supported by ITS and help develop a knowledge base.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
You are the right fit if you have:
- At least 2 years of experience in a Service Desk role (user support).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (application support), Active Directory (basic support: adding, removing, modifying users), and basic networking and firewall principles, with experience in specific products.
- Initial experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus.
- Proficiency in one of the national languages (French or Dutch) and a passive understanding of the other language. Good command of English is also required.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to manage stress effectively.
- A collaborative team spirit.
