Your Role: IT Functional Analyst
As an IT Functional Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing the functional needs and challenges of our business users. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting feasibility studies and translating end-user needs into comprehensive functional requirements.
- Proposing efficient and optimal IT & Digital solutions, ensuring completeness, quality, and compliance.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders, IT colleagues, and external suppliers to understand both functional and technical aspects of solutions.
- Identifying and addressing functional Applications & Data requirements, always keeping the end users in mind.
- Creating Use Cases to test and validate the quality and correctness of implemented solutions.
- Developing and maintaining technical and functional documentation.
- Handling development requests for adapting existing applications and crafting new Applications & Data architecture.
Your Profile:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent by experience).
- 5+ years of proven experience in IT Applications & Data services, preferably in a global environment with exposure to Belgium and France.
- Ability to support Application & Data architecture and translate the needs of various stakeholders (business and IT).
- Experience in working collaboratively with internal resources and external suppliers/partners.
- « Down to earth, » pragmatic, and analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Broad insight into IT Applications & Data services, solutions, trends, and suppliers.
- Knowledge of and experience in Microsoft solutions, methodologies (e.g., Project Management, Agile, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills in English, French, and Dutch (additional languages are a plus).
- Business experience in Agricultural and Industrial working environments is advantageous.
- Willingness to occasionally travel to other locations.
