Senior Project Manager – 

Project Overview:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing complex projects aimed at streamlining digital processes for the Justice Department. This program supports initiatives to improve the administration and execution of penalties, reduce workload, and enhance public service accessibility in the justice sector.

Project Focus Areas:

  • Traffic Safety: Oversee improvements in traffic safety processes, including new initiatives for detecting traffic violations.
  • Penalty Administration: Standardize and digitalize smaller correctional fines, such as immediate settlement options for minor offenses.
  • Public Service Enhancement: Manage online resources, including the justice website, digital traffic fines platform, and support call center.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, external partners, and government entities. Ensure clear communication on project progress, balancing interests for project success.

  2. Project Management: Oversee end-to-end project planning, including deadlines, deliverables, and resource allocation. Track project milestones and make adjustments as needed to meet technical and organizational goals.

  3. Budget Management: Prepare and oversee the project budget, forecast expenses, and proactively address any potential overruns. Report on financial status to senior management.

  4. Communication: Ensure effective and clear communication across all project levels, providing updates through reports, meetings, and dashboards.

  5. Software Management: Use tools such as PolOffice, Microsoft Azure, Confluence, and Jira to support data management and project tracking.

  6. Data Flow Optimization: Manage data exchange between police and justice systems, with a focus on security and regulatory compliance, defining data responsibilities and ensuring accuracy.

  7. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks. Document and communicate risks and responses to the project team and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
  • Fluent in Dutch and French.
  • Proficient in PolOffice, Microsoft Azure, and MaCH; experience with police and justice data exchange
