Functional Analyst (IT Systems & Software)
Location: Brussels (Hybrid: Onsite 2x/week)
Our client is seeking a Functional Analyst to join their dynamic team within the Operational Planning & Competencies domain. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver IT solutions that support planning and competency management. You will play a pivotal role in translating business demands into functional analyses and technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and structure business requirements from various stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough functional analyses and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Work closely with the development team to translate requirements into technical deliverables.
- Maintain and manage backlogs using Jira/Confluence, ensuring all tasks are prioritized and on track.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Oversee the project lifecycle, adapting to changes and helping to ensure timely delivery of project outputs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst in software development, preferably within Scrum teams.
- Advanced experience with Jira/Confluence for backlog management and analysis.
- Proficiency in BPMN and UML for requirements documentation and workflow modeling.
- Experience or familiarity with product ownership is appreciated.
- Professional proficiency in Dutch, French, and English (both written and verbal).
- Strong knowledge of IT systems and software, with understanding of cloud technology, data warehousing, SQL, and advanced Excel.
- Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), particularly Agile/Scrum methodologies.
