Analyst Developer – Document Solutions (Try & Hire)
About the Opportunity
A leading Belgian organization is seeking an Analyst Developer – Document Solutions to join its Digital Competence Center as part of a Try & Hire engagement.
The successful candidate will become part of a cross-functional team responsible for the design, development and maintenance of business-critical document solutions. The role combines analysis, technical development, testing and implementation activities while ensuring compliance with quality standards and business requirements.
After an onboarding and training period, the consultant will progressively gain autonomy and take ownership of end-to-end assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, develop, enhance and test document-related applications and solutions.
- Design and format business documents using document composition tools.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Ensure document solutions comply with established standards and integrate correctly with existing systems and data models.
- Perform integration, regression and performance testing.
- Validate the consistency and interaction of document solutions with other application components.
- Support the setup and maintenance of testing environments.
- Assist testing teams during test execution.
- Analyse test outcomes, identify issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards prior to deployment.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and project contributors.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Proven experience with document design and formatting solutions, ideally ISIS Papyrus.
- Strong knowledge of XML, XSD and HTML.
- Experience designing and documenting test cases.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret data models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architect and Jira is considered an advantage.

Contract Details
- Type: Try & Hire
- Initial Assignment: 12-month consultancy engagement
- Long-Term Perspective: Permanent employment opportunity following the consultancy period
- Start Date: ASAP
- Location: Primarily Antwerp, combined with remote work and occasional presence at other Belgian offices
- Equipment: Consultants are expected to work with their own laptop or one provided by their employer/vendor
