Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Head of IT, serving as a valuable soundboard to contribute to and implement the Group IT & Digital strategy.

  • Business-IT Alignment: Ensure seamless alignment between business users and the IT department, leveraging best practices, pragmatism, and positive experiences to enhance the quality of IT & Digital services continually.

  • Risk Management: Identify and address IT & Digital risks, encompassing IT security and Business Continuity, and implement professional corrective actions to mitigate potential challenges.

  • Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all business, market, regulatory, and IT & Digital obligations and rules, including active participation in audits.

  • People and Culture: Contribute to the workforce/sourcing strategy, fostering a growth-oriented people and culture environment that yields qualitative results and pride in achievements.

  • Stakeholder Management: Provide valuable advice on stakeholder relationships, change management, and communication related to IT & Digital matters.

  • Budget Management: Take control and actively contribute to IT & Digital budget management, workflows, processes, procedures, KPIs, and benchmarking.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent by experience).

  • Experience: Proven C-level experience in IT & Digital Governance within a global environment, with a preference for experience in the EU, Belgium, and France (5+ years).

  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in people management, coupled with expertise in Vendor/Partner Management, Contract Management, Budget Management, and Process & Quality Improvements.

  • Analytical Approach: Possess a “down-to-earth,” pragmatic, and analytical approach to problem-solving.

  • Industry Insight: In-depth understanding of IT & Digital solutions, trends, and suppliers, with knowledge and experience in Microsoft solutions, methodologies (e.g., Project Management, Agile, ITIL), and financials.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English, French, and Dutch.

  • Flexibility: Openness to regular travel, primarily to the North-West of France (Cappelle-en-Pévèle).

  • Installing, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting local infrastructure based on technologies such as Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and Networking components.
  • Configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Cloud infrastructure on platforms such as Windows Azure, Microsoft Intune.
  • Ensuring infrastructure availability through proactive monitoring.
  • Maintaining security, backup, and redundant processes.
  • Providing support to colleagues with ICT technical issues, both software and hardware-related.
  • Proposing improvements and assisting in the implementation of all infrastructure-related processes and projects.

Qualifications:

Your Profile:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent by experience).
  • 5+ years of proven experience in IT Applications & Data services, preferably in a global environment with exposure to Belgium and France.
  • Ability to support Application & Data architecture and translate the needs of various stakeholders (business and IT).
  • Experience in working collaboratively with internal resources and external suppliers/partners.
  • “Down to earth,” pragmatic, and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Broad insight into IT Applications & Data services, solutions, trends, and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of and experience in Microsoft solutions, methodologies (e.g., Project Management, Agile, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, French, and Dutch (additional languages are a plus).
  • Business experience in Agricultural and Industrial working environments is advantageous.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to other locations.
