Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior System Engineer to join the dynamic IT team of our client. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing technical support, implementing IT solutions, and maintaining system reliability. This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about technology and eager to develop their skills in a client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support

Provide on-site and remote technical assistance.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

Ensure system stability and performance by implementing best practices.
System Implementation & Maintenance

Assist in the deployment and configuration of IT systems, including servers, workstations, and networks.

Perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades.

Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
Client Interaction

Act as the primary point of contact for technical needs.

Provide clear and effective communication, including documentation of issues and solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Collaboration & Development

Work closely with the senior engineering team to deliver tailored IT solutions.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies to suggest improvements.

Participate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities to enhance skills.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

1-2 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
Technical Skills

Knowledge of Windows operating systems.

Understanding of network fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls).

Experience with common enterprise tools such as Active Directory and Office 365.

Understanding of virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Soft Skills

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in French (Dutch is a plus).

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
