Network Engineer
As part of the “Network Core & Voice” team of our client, your role will involve working on various voice-related technologies and platforms, including but not limited to:
- Central Telephony Infrastructure: Oracle SBC & SIP Router
- Telephony Systems: Cisco CUCM, NICE Engage for voice recording
- Collaboration Tools: Polycom conference phones, intercom systems (Commend, 2N)
- Messaging Platforms: SMS Gateway, Cisco IronPort Email Security
- Telephony Integration: SIP trunks, Atos phone banking
- Indoor Coverage Solutions: Multi-operator DAS, VoWiFi, Astrid
- Telephony Automation: Provisioning, orchestration, and reporting tools
Key Responsibilities
- Lead automation and deployment initiatives to streamline operations.
- Provide guidance on implementing automation best practices.
- Develop and maintain tools to enhance troubleshooting and monitoring of voice infrastructure.
- Automate and execute operational sysadmin tasks.
- Apply DevOps principles to improve VoIP/Unified Communication service quality and testing processes.

Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent by experience.
- Relevant IT certifications are a plus.
Telework and Travel
- Work Mode: 50% onsite, 50% remote.
- Travel: Minimal.
Required Experience and Skills
Technical Experience (Mandatory)
- Experience with Oracle SBC & Cisco CUCM.
- Scripting for data automation (e.g., Bash, Perl, Python, PowerShell, VBA).
- Utilizing APIs (REST & SOAP) and querying directories (LDAP, SQL, XML).
- Linux proficiency.
- Knowledge of encryption (SSL, SIP-TLS, SRTP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GIT).
Technical Experience (Preferable)
- Awareness of networking infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls) and protocols (e.g., VLANs, TCP/UDP, DNS).
- Basic knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory, and telephony protocols (SIP & RTP).
- Debugging experience (e.g., Wireshark).
- Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel.
