Main tasks and responsibilities:
– Ensuring the proper management and continuous improvement of the network infrastructure.
– Implementing and maintaining effective network monitoring and capacity management processes, which actively contribute to the automation of tasks in order to ensure maximum efficiency.
– Providing the necessary assistance in the event of incidents, analyzing and resolving complex 3rd level technical problems.
– Overseeing the monitoring and maintenance of operational solutions, in particular by creating, continually updating comprehensive documentation and procedures, as well as by disseminating them to stakeholders.
– Actively contributing to the introduction and implementation of new technologies.
– Monitoring, evaluating and continuously improving the effectiveness of the security measures implemented to strengthen the IT infrastructure.

Hard skills:
Education:
Ideally, at least a Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent by experience.
Professional experience:
At least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
Technical skills:
Solid experience in:
– configuring and managing Cisco products (switches, routers, Wi-Fi/WLC access points, Cisco ASA, Cisco ISE, Cisco Meraki SD-Wan, VLAN).
– managing LAN and WAN environments.
– managing (internal and external) DNS and DHCP technologies to achieve optimal network configurations.
– using and configuring Cisco site-to-site and Anyconnect VPN protocols to guarantee the security and efficiency of network communication.
– using and integrating VoIP systems in the Cisco data network.
– using Skype for Business, MS-Teams, Polycom VVX and Spider Trio 8800.
– integrating telephony systems with MS-Teams, including upgrading legacy telephony and IVR/cascade systems to modern, complete MS-Teams-based solutions.
– integrating multi-cloud network environments (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Private Cloud).
– implementing and integrating Azure network solutions in hybrid environments.
– using and implementing copper and fiber optic cabling standards.
Very good understanding of network security best practice, vulnerability management and risk mitigation techniques.
Language skills:
– French and Dutch: a very good knowledge of one of these 2 languages, both spoken and written, and at least a good passive knowledge of the other one.
– English: at least a good knowledge.
