We are seeking a skilled Network Security Consultant to join our dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge network security initiatives. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and enhancing secure network solutions in complex enterprise environments, while also providing expert-level support for network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network security, advanced routing, and troubleshooting. Proficiency with technologies such as Cisco ASA, FortiGate, Checkpoint, and network proxies is essential. You should also have expertise in deploying cloud and hybrid solutions on AWS, implementing SD-WAN architectures, and configuring both wired and wireless networks.
This role involves driving network performance optimization, ensuring security compliance, and leading innovations in network architecture. A strong background in high-availability solutions, business continuity, and scalable network design with BGP, NAC, and other advanced protocols is highly desirable.
Key Skills
Network Security
- Expertise in configuring and managing Cisco ASA, FortiGate, and Checkpoint firewalls.
- Skilled in VPN setup (IPSec, SSL), policy management, firewall rule optimization, DDoS mitigation, SSL/TLS encryption, and network segmentation.
SD-WAN
- Hands-on experience in setting up and managing SD-WAN solutions for improved latency, resiliency, and bandwidth optimization.
Network Access Control (NAC)
- Proficiency in implementing NAC solutions to enforce identity-based access and compliance policies.
Proxies & Content Filtering
- Experience managing proxy servers and content filtering to enforce security policies and protect against web-based threats.
Web Application Firewall (WAF)
- Expertise in configuring and managing WAF solutions (e.g., AWS WAF, F5 ASM, Cloudflare) to protect against web application threats.
Load Balancing
- Extensive experience with Layer 4 and Layer 7 load balancers, including platforms like Radware and F5 BIG-IP.
Routing & Switching
- Strong skills in BGP, OSPF, and advanced routing policy design.
- Experience configuring wireless networks, WLCs, and implementing secure role-based access policies.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues across multi-vendor environments, utilizing packet analysis and diagnostic tools for root cause analysis.
Additional Preferred Skills
- Wireless Networks: Experience designing and troubleshooting enterprise wireless solutions, including WLCs and Access Points.
- VMware NSX-T: Expertise in network virtualization and software-defined data center technologies.
- Cloud Networking: Proficient in AWS networking, including VPC, Direct Connect, Route 53, and hybrid solutions. Familiarity with AWS security and monitoring services.
- Network Automation & Scripting: Knowledge of automation tools like Ansible and scripting in Python for network management.
- Performance Optimization: Skilled in diagnosing performance issues and optimizing network configurations for peak efficiency.
Qualifications and Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Networks, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as:
- CCIE or CCNP (Security, Routing & Switching, or other tracks).
- Fortinet NSE 4/7.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE).
- Certifications in SD-WAN, wireless networking, or other security technologies.
