IT Data Architect Manager : 

Function : 

  • Primary responsibility to build and drive a data strategy and governance and reporting to executive level on a regular basis
  • Builds a data oriented ecosystem internally by defining technical requirements, design and build data architecture, ensure site reliability
  • Transform the organization into a data-driven organization
  • Indirect management of a team of 10 person (Data Representative Department)
  • Define data analytics priorities in line with business strategy and oversee data-oriented projects implementation
  • Define and implement data governance strategy and oversee business departments data SME’s
  • Define technical requirements, design and build data architecture and ensure site data consistency and reliability
  • Define Data Quality requirements, design and build Data Quality Processes(Master Data)
  • Define Data integration requirements, design and build Data Integration Processes? (EAI, ETL, Web Services,…)
  • Advice, support and train IT and business SME’s on data-oriented decisions or projects, data architecture, modelling, …
  • Define and ensure compliance to data privacy applying GDPR or any other directives/laws.

Profile : 

  • Masters Degree or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience in a data-oriented function (Data Architect, Data Business, Data Modeller, Business Intelligence Lead)
  • Broad knowledge and thorow experience in Data Modeling, Data integration and data-oriented processes
  • Good knowledge of Manufacturing processes and prefereably Pharma
  • Experience with data-oriented Manufacturing systems (i.e. : Osi PI, Discoverant), Business Inteligence Platform ( i.e. QlikSense, PowerBI)
  • Experience with Data Warehouse processes
  • Experience with aCloud Based Platform (AWS data tools and AI & ML Platform (Databricks) is an asset
  • Experience with data governance process (Data Catalog, Master Data Management, Data Quality)
  • Good knowledge of Manufacturing systems (i.e. : ERP, Automation systems,LIMS, MES, Laboratories systems, …)
  • Good leadership skills
  • Good decision making and able to work autonomously

We work together with a company in the area of Charleroi which is a market leader in their domain who likes to innovate their products and services with the latest technologies.

To keep on innovating, they are in need of a Linux System and Network engineer that will work with voice and mobile technologies.
 

Your main challenge

In this position, you will be responsible for the administration of operations, management and development of the IT infrastructure in a Linux environment for voice and mobile technologies.

 

Your responsibilities

The network engineer (Voice and Mobile solutions) is responsible for the following tasks:

  • Daily operations and administration of the core network: incident management, change management, service requests (B2B and B2C), capacity planning
  • Participation in the implementation of the core network evolution strategy: planning, conceptualization and development of the service infrastructure.
  • Proactive monitoring, administration and maintenance of infrastructure and services
  • Develop and maintain reports related to infrastructures and services: metrics collection, storage, consolidation and reporting (KPIs included)
  • Support for voice and mobile services
  • Identify areas for improvement, propose and implement changes and improvements in terms of quality and reliability of services

 

The ideal candidate for this position has

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science
  • Experience in Linux system administration and operations
  • Good knowledge of networks (TPC, IP, routing, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, switching)
  • Skills in scripting : Bash, Python, PHP
  • Knowledge of the infrastructure of virtualization technologies (VMWare)
  • Database administration: Microsoft SQL server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra
  • Experience in deploying open source software solutions
  • Knowledge or experience in one or more telephony technologies is a plus: mobile networks, VoIP, etc.
  • Microsoft Office, Visio.
