Job Purpose
The Business Developer is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining and developing important customer relationships, upselling and cross-selling, negotiating and closing business deals to generate sales revenue and growing market share.
For this role, you will be located in one of our offices in Antwerp, Drongen or Woluwe – with regular travel to our Head Office in Woluwe.
Main tasks/responsibilities
Achieving commercial objectives:
- Setting up and implementing a business development strategy for Experis Belgium in order to scale the client portfolio by attracting new SME’s and Major Accounts (end-clients)
- Generating sales revenue and increasing market share;
- Align with internal pricing policies and maximize gross profit.
Proactively spotting opportunities:
- Proactively identify prospective and previously untapped business opportunities;
- Keep abreast of trends in the world of work to assess possible implications for development opportunities;
- Identify and qualify prospects from both hot referrals and cold contacts;
- Maximizing the brand awareness of Experis in Belgium through marketing campaigns, networking and prospecting.
Successfully managing the entire sales process:
- Active and successful management of the entire sales process (lead generation, customer proposals, getting involved with RFI/RFP requests, solution pitch, upselling and cross-selling, negotiation and completion of contracts) in close cooperation with various support departments (Sales & Operations, Business Support, Finance, Legal, IT, Accounting,…);
- Managing a complex sales cycle through introduction, qualification, solution development, negotiation and contract closing;
- Follow up on the implementation phase so that the intended revenue is achieved in continuous dialogue with sales & operations.µ
- Strongly liaise and collaborate with the internal recruitment and KAM team to facility delivery on the new client
Managing commercial and business relationships:
- Developing and expanding Business networks;
- Participate in network events and fairs
- Connect with your pears within Experis Europe
- Representing Experis in a professional manner to potential or acquired customers through direct communication;
- Building good working relationships with management and colleagues from all ManpowerGroup Business lines;
- Building relationships with potential customers at CIO and Purchase level;
- Coordination and gathering information from different Business lines and support staff to write a winning proposal through excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Have the ability to build relationships and negotiate with people from different sectors at different levels;
- Creating business opportunities for different Industries and Business-lines, where possible.
Profile
- A relevant Bachelor or Master's degree, this coupled with at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably at the level of Key Account Manager Medior Business Development Manager,
- A Successful Business Development track record in HR or IT services to large companies that you can look back on,
- Fluent knowledge of Dutch, French and English,
- The ability to analyze, manage and influence
- A networker in heart and soul who can easily adapt both within Experis and ManpowerGroup and at customer level,
- You like to win new Business and know how to involve your colleagues for the next steps,
- Strong verbal, presentation-related and written communication skills
- Innovative and Solutions-minded in an ever-changing sector,
- Result- and goal-oriented, with a heart for People management.
