For one of the biggest international IT company, we are looking for a Cloud Architect. They are known for delivering consultancy services to their clients and partners active in different sectors.
As a cloud architect, you are responsible for delivering the infrastructure architecture for projects. You form the bridge with the business and translate the strategy to the IT environment. You cap the client's requirements and build a longer-term cloud strategy and roadmap. You make recommendations on how their platforms should evolve, whether in the cloud, on premise or a hybrid solution.
You are passionate about the latest developments in your field and eager to participate in trainings to keep your knowledge up to date.
Location: Mechelen and/or Brussels depending on the project
Description
Our client is looking for a motivated technical expert to join their team, working in Brussels on a large-scale IT environment. The mission involves the creation of cloud-hosted IT services for their internal customers.
Education/Experience
- Academic Bachelor or Master’s Degree in applied computer sciences, applied informatics or a related field.
- You have experience in designing, implementing and supporting large-scale projects.
- You have a strong technical background in IT infrastructure.
- You can work on a project basis.
- You are a team player, but you can also work independently.
- Additional previous experience as full stack development is considered as an asset.
- Experience with web service, JavaScript environments, … are a bonus.
Profile
- Ability to work and communicate in a multi-cultural environment.
- Service-oriented mind-set.
- Ability to communicate in writing and verbally in a clear and concise manner.
- Initiative, accuracy and attention to detail.
- In-depth organizational skills and analytical ability.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, French is a plus.
