Our client is the leading healthcare and diagnostic software provider in Europe and one of the largest in the world. 

For this client we are looking for a cloud integration engineer:

As  Integration Engineer Life Sciences you will be using your coding experience and knowledge of the software, IT & cloud architecture and interoperability standards (HL7/FHIR) in the successful service validation, service introduction and service delivery of (new) IT & Data services and products that are used globally for more than 330 million patients.

Your role:

  • You provide technical coordination, focused leadership, and consultative project support in the execution of (remote) installations/configurations for service validation efforts, pilot sites and new countries
  • You analyze customer needs and develop site-specific workflow requirements for software configurations in cooperation with the customer and the project managers
  • You communicate technical details and project status to project managers, customers, and other stakeholders
  • You develop and maintain service guides as well as review and provide input on product documentation
  • You attend product-training, underlying technologies courses and maintain an expert working knowledge of targeted products and solutions

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer-related field
  • Experience as an engineer/consultant supporting clients in a high tech or software environment (ideally within Life Sciences or Healthcare) is a plus
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Leadership skills – Is accountable and takes ownership for issues escalated to the team and acts as a facilitator when required
  • Commitment to teamwork and ability to foster productive working relationships with internal and external groups
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of French and or German is an asset. Additional languages would be a plus

Technical knowledge:

  • You are a “cloud-native” IT specialist
  • You have experience with AWS, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure
  • You are equally familiar with technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes, Elasticsearch
  • You have a sound interest into Machine Learning & AI technologies
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in: PL/SQL, Java, VB scripting, Python,  networking, hardware, operating systems Windows 2016/2019, Linux, and Server Virtualization ESX
  • Knowledge of Hospital Workflows, IHE, HL7, FHIR and DICOM is a plus
